Enhance your clinical skills and empower your practice with our Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) for Midwives program. OnSite Ultrasound has partnered with Hawthorne Midwives to provide an Introductory to Midwifery POCUS course exclusively designed for practicing midwives, aimed at strengthening clinical decision-making and enhancing quality maternal and newborn care. Our goal is to have safe, ethical, and effective integration of POCUS into midwifery care which will improve confidence and clinical decision-making.

Course 1: Introduction to Midwifery POCUS
Who should attend:
Are you a practicing midwives wanting to enhance your clinical skill by using ultrasound? Are you beginning to integrate ultrasound into your practice. Do you have a machine, but are having difficulty optimizing the images. When you complete our one day program you can hit the ground running and implement the skills you have used right away.
Course 2: Advancing Skills in Midwifery POCUS – designed for midwives that want to continue to advance their POCUS midwifery skills.
Who should attend:
Are you a practicing midwives had have begun to use POCUS … but are wanting to expand your knowledge? Do you need some more hands-on experience with an OB sonographer? Do you have more questions and would like to develop your skill set to do other protocols? The Advancing Skills in Midwifery POCUS might be for you.
Course 3: Examination Preparation Review course for Midwife Sonography Certificate (www.ardms.org)
Who should attend:
Are you a practicing midwives wanting to have a certification in POCUS for Midwives? This full day didactic program will prepare you for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer’s examination. The ARDMS is recognized as a certification body worldwide.
